A few weeks ago spent Spanish artist Kenor a few days working on this new mural for the Art(Re)Public project in Jacksonville, Florida.

As usual, delivers Kenor an eye-catching piece, massive in scale and with that characteristic and powerful use of colour and clear geometry that, inspired by music, conveys movement and balance to each piece.
His method is simple and it usually starts by choosing a song and interpreting it. His abstract works are precisely the materialisation of sounds, tones and notes. Like in Kandinsky’s work abstraction has a close correlation with the language of music.
An example of this is his last mural “Detroit moves” where Detroit’s techno music is present with its abstract and futuristic rhythm expressed through a straight forward composition where every beat seems to correspond to a gesture or a colour, intersecting and overlapping each other.
