It’s been a while since we posted something about Colombian artist Bastardilla, but we haven’t really heardWith this last intervention carried out by Bastardilla, we continue our delivery on the tenth edition of the DesOrdes Creativas, the urban art exhibition of Ordes in Spain.

The new mural, called “Trenza” with the sombre under-title “A Woman Lies Buried Under Me”, shows the image of seven women whose hair is entwined in braids in a way that forms a spider’s web. In the middle of the web we find a strange scissor-like character wearing an outfit that could reminds us of those of the ku kux klan, but with a money symbol instead of a cross.

The scene is set against a background of blue leaves and red fruits, contrasting with the warmth that the bodies of the women irradiate and the white coldness of the ku kux klan-like figure in the center.
