David de la Mano is currently escaping from a delicious summer in Uruguay where he currently works and lives to visit Salamanca in Spain where he recently dropped one of his enigmatic street pieces.
Titled “Clan” the new mural depicts a group of human silhouettes, all going in a particular direction which suggests the idea of migration. As in the rest of David de la Mano’s work we are confronted with a monochromatic imagery that encourages emotions and ideas through a minimalist aesthetic.
His silhouettes are used as narrative metaphors, through which he expresses poetic and personal visions of our human condition and the ways human perceive the world. In this case, a migrating clan or group of people that seem to be united towards a particular goal.
