Polish artists Daniel Chazme and Ziemowita Liszka (Mozi) collaborated recently in a very special project for the always great Traffic Design in Gdynia, Poland. A festival that brought new life to the city enriching its cultural landscape with a considerable amount of public art during the last years.
For the occasion, Chazme and Monzi created this beautiful piece composed by abstract, geometric reliefs that could remind us of constructivist landscapes from masters like Kazimir Malevich.
Titled “Monumentalcity”, the new piece is a representation of a fast growing metropolis whose development has often been compared to that of living organisms; structures that constantly expand, overlap and intertwine giving shape to a massive and seemly uncontrollable maze. A nice comment to our moderne societies and its urban development.
