Here a few images I got from the always great David de la Mano, of a mural painted recently in barrio del Prado in Montevideo.
Just like in the rest of his work, David de la Mano introduces us to a world of symbolic, mass human behaviour and condition through silhouetted characters – sometimes part human/part tree bringing some mysticism to the street art scene.
“Pleamar” or “High tide” as the mural was titled, isn’t an exception depicting anthropomorphic figures of whales mounted by tiny human-like characters that seem to swim through the high tide trying to reach an unknown destination.
